I Hear America Singing

I Hear America Singing is a musical celebration of the American spirit which interweaves readings from some of America's greatest writers and statesmen with music that illustrates the rich tapestry of American music-making over the past 200 years. Spirituals and folk tunes, patriotic anthems and Tin Pan Alley, jazz and country/western all combine to create a moving and uplifting exploration of what it means to be an American.
